Almost 2.

How has it been almost two years since we brought this sweet guy into our family?  Today, I'm spending my day off cleaning and preparing for a small family gathering tomorrow. It's also the day I'll see my boys for the first time in 8 days.  I'm dying to see them!  A letter to my two-year old will come on his actual birthday, July 9. Until then, here's a few pics from 2 years ago and one from last year! Happy Weekend!

she's crafty!

This week, all I'm doing is running, not mothering. My sweet baby loves are in Virginia with their grandparents so KT and I are just doing whatever we want. It's nice and it's quiet.

 I'm project central right now. Love being able to do things with out little hands getting in the way.

This was a kid's paining I found at Goodwill yesterday.  I put the letters on there and then spray painted it white.  Put it back in the frame and VOILA! a picture for my kitchen!

I also made no-sew roman shades for our bedroom.  These were super easy and this one took about an hour to do. 

Up next this week: painting our bedroom and a piece of furniture and more roman shades. 

So fun!

pre-long run fuel

Oh, I'm so addicted to this combo.  This here, folks, is a blueberry Eggo waffle with Crazy Richard's chunky peanut butter and semi-sweet chocolate chips. We ran 7 miles this morning so I had two before the run with a cup of coffee. I tell ya, it's was Patsy-smacking good.

so. marathon.

I need to write.  I realized that I need a place to put my life.  Weird because I never thought of myself as a writer.

This week is week 3 of marathon training.  We are all a little ill and sore which is weird and makes me worry about what's to come.  We can do this, right?  Surely we can.

First week we rand 19 miles, last week was 20 and this week is 17.  Whew. It's good but I just haven't  wrapped my head around this marathon thing yet.  And, my girls are going to KILL me for saying that.

Fresh Start

I've decided to move my blog to here.  My blogging isn't about babies much anymore and because we are done.done.done. having them, I thought it could be more about me, running, food, life, etc.  and of course the boys will play a part.
